Pastor Brent was called to preach as a teenager in Texas, and preached his first message at 16 years old. After graduating from High School, he attended Bible Missionary Institute in Rock Island, IL, where he earned a Bachelor of Theology. During college, Brent married Nicki from Martin, SD, and started pastoring a church in Peoria, IL. After graduation, Brent and Nicki moved to Rapid City to start a church. Services were held in their living room, a Union Hall on St. Patrick St., and then in 1997 the current property on Twilight Dr. was purchased and a building erected. The first service was held in February 1998.

Brent has worked in construction as well as pastoring for the majority of their time here, in 1998 Brent started working with Kirk Funeral Home and has maintained a relationship with them throughout the years as an arranger through the funeral process and as a Minister for families who were in need of service. He truly enjoys being able to expand his ministry by ministering to families outside of the church during their greatest time of need.

Brent and Nicki have 3 children; Travis and his wife Melissa live nearby in Box Elder. Levi and his wife Kaycee reside in Rapid Valley. Joy still lives at home with her parents.
